Welcome to our Tai Chi Courses!
Our program is tailored to the
individual's needs and abilities, and is based on ancient Chinese
principles, yet we speak in plain English! So, how do you start?
People start the TCFMe Program with a
six-week introduction to Classical Yang-style Tai Chi principles. Each session meets for a full
90 minutes as is broken up into three 30 minute segments...
First -
Warm up, general stretch, torso self-massage, etc.
Second- Stationary Tai Chi (Qigong), for
centering, rooting, gentle upper torso, shoulder, and arm movements
coordinated with breathing and imagery, to release tension, sooth, and
rejuvenate.
Third- Tai Chi bare-hand solo form sequence.
This is the gentle, flowing ballet-like movements that are executed with
graceful intent and becomes a peaceful, serene experience that builds
confidence, balance, leg strength, endurance, and peace of mind.

- Tai Chi For Fun (inquire for times)
- The class for the rest of us. In this class the focus is on getting
loose... I mean really loose. "Wet Noodle" awards are given to those
that have satisfactorily achieved the designated degree of relaxation. This
class is low-carb and low in saturated fat...just what the doctor ordered.

- Tai Chi For Real

-
This class is for the those that want to take their tai chi a
bit seriously or who already have tai chi experience. We expect considerably more in this class, but you will
"get" considerably more out of it. Meant for people that are in fairly good
shape or simply more "hungry for meat" than the typical tai chi
player.
